Chapter 5

In chapter 5 we learn that  Lennie is very strong and big as well as that he is mentally challenged . I first of know this because Lennie kills  the puppy he was about to get i know this because it says ' Lennie sat in the hay and looked at a little dead puppy that lay in front of him.' lennie killed his puppy i also know this because  “Why do you got to get killed? You ain’t so little as mice. I didn’t bounce you hard.”

this show that he was petting the puppy even though George told him not to because it would die;

this shows that he has got a child's state of mind and doesn't do as he as told by people!

The I didn't bounce you hard state's that he was dropping the puppy and not looking after it properly mainly because he doesn't know what he is doing! Also he was talking to the pup like it was a human being.

As well as Lennie killing his pup he also kills curly's wife. it wasn't his folt that he killed her, the evidence to prove this is 'She took Lennie’s hand and put it on her head. “Feel right aroun’ there an’ see how soft it is.”!' this shows that she wanted him to feel her hair and Lennie likes soft things so he grabbed on as she mover her head 'She jerked her head sideways, and Lennie’s fingers closed on her hair and hung on.' she was screaming and shouting so Lennie put his huge gigantic hands over her  mouth so she couldn't scream. she tried to get free so Lennie shook her so hard it broke her spin  'he shook her; and her body flopped like a fish. And then she was still, for Lennie had broken her neck.' This shows how strong Lennie is now he was Scared just like a little kid if he had broken a vars.  'then he whispered in fright, “I done a bad thing. I done another bad thing.” ' this shows he is scared. He ran ran off and hid like a child would ' hide in the brush ' the quote shows us this.
